On the 2nd December 2022, the Agric Department in collaboration with Kintampo South District Assembly celebrated the 38th Annual Farmers’ Day at Chirehin under the theme: “Accelerating Agricultural Development through value addition”
The overall best farmer went to Kunde Luba from Kwabia. He took away a Motorbike, Fridge, 5 bags of 50kg Yara Fertilizer, 3 Wallington boots, 10 cutlasses, Five bars of Keysoap, and 1 piece of clothing.
Foster Ohemeng Kese from Jema was adjudge the First Runner-up. He took 1 Motorbike, 3 Wellington boots, 3 bags of 50kg Yara Fertilizer, 5 cutlasses, 5 bars of Keysoap and 1 piece of cloth
The Second Runner-up went to Kofi Agyei from Jerusalem. He went home with 1 bicycle, roofing sheets, 3 Wellington boots, 5 cutlasses, 3 bags of 50kg Yara fertilizer, 5 bars of keysoap and 1 piece of clothe.
