On Wednesday, 28th September, 2022, the Kintampo South District Assembly lead by the DCE, Hon. Opoku Nyame and the MP, Hon. Alexander Gyan cut-sod for the construction of two classroom blocks and one maternity block at three different communities in the district.
Krutakyi
At krutakyi, a 1No. 3-unit classroom block with headteacher’s office, staff common room, and two seater KVIP toilet facility is to be constructed.
Agyegyemakunu
At Agyegyemakunu, a 1No. 3-unit classroom block with headteacher’s office, staff common room, and two seater KVIP toilet facility is to be constructed.
Apesika
At Apesika, a maternity block with lying-in labour ward, ANC unit, gyaenacology unit, consulting room, wound dressing room and nurses room is to be constructed.
In the presence of all the three contractors, the chiefs warned them not to delay or do shoddy work. The chiefs on behalf of the citizenry, expressed appreciation to the government for such a project.
